BeeVital is attracting more and more attention as plans progress for a pioneering Apiceutical Research Centre in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors.
Company founder James Fearnley has been interviewed by the Yorkshire Post regarding the ambitious project which will be housed in a state of the art eco-building in Goathland, North Yorkshire. The centre is anticipated to provide 10 new jobs in the area - a welcome boost to a local economy heavily reliant on a stuttering tourism industry. The centre will not only provide local employment but also boost visitor numbers to the area with it's unique brand of educational tourism.
The centre will focus on research into the medicinal properties of bee products (Apiceuticals), but also plans to run seminars and lectures on sustainable beekeeping, practical hive building and local ecology.
BeeVital is currently in consultation with the North Yorks Moors National Park to assess the viability of the project.
