After lobbying from campaign groups, pesticide manufacturer Syngenta withdraws application to use neonicotinoids in UK oilseed rape crops.
Despite a recent European ban on the controversial group of pesticides known as neonicotinoids one manufacturer, Syngenta, recently applied for an emergency exemption.
There is a growing body of research to suggest that this particular group of pesticides is seriously damaging to invertebrate pollinators including Bee populations.
