James Fearnley, Director of Apiceutical Research Centre and BeeVital CEO, is delighted to be presenting groundbreaking new research on the medicinal applications of propolis at the 2015 Apimondia Conference in South Korea.
After submitting an abstract, Mr Fearnley has been invited to give a talk on various pieces of research completed at The Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, Glasgow. The presentation will discuss findings which link the biological activity of certain strains of propolis to prevalent disease conditions where the propolis has been collected. Most noteable of these findings is a potential link between certain strains of propolis and their activity against protozoal diseases such as Trypanosomiasis, (african sleeping sickness), Leishmaniasis and Malaria.
The presentation will be given at the Apimonida Congress on 18th September 2015, in Daejeon, South Korea. For more information on the conference click here
