Don't Step on a Bee Day!

Aug 16, 2017

It was recently national 'Don't Step on a Bee Day' - a day dedicated to raising awareness around the plight of our bees.

"It seems we have a 'national day' for just about everything now, but I can't think of a more important one than this. Let's not beat around the bush, bees are vital to the ultimate survival of our species - not only do they help to pollinate around a third of all global food crops but they also produce extremely valuable and highly effective nutritional and medicinal products such honey, pollen and propolis. Bees are master chemists, blending together biochemical elements from nectar, pollen and resins to produce potent natural medicines which are only now getting the scientific acknowledgement they deserve." Says Hugo Fearnley, BeeVital's Business Development Director.

Mr Fearnley, was interviewed and broadcast across the airwaves on a number of local and national radio stations throughout the day.
