BeeVital have teamed up with Leeds Beckett University to offer an exciting PhD studentship opportunity studying propolis.
The project will be based primarily at the School of Clinical & Applied Sciences but with close collaboration with the R&D department of Nature's Laboratory (BeeVital). The project offers a fantastic opportunity to delve deeper into the biological activity of propolis and its relationship to chemical composition and geographical source.
The work will utilize well-established microbiology and genetics techniques alongside the potential for further biochemical analysis of propolis using a variety of cutting-edge technologies. The successful candidate will join the Centre for Biomedical Science Research and will have access to a newly refurbished and well-equipped research laboratory. The research project will be supervised by Dr. Maragarita Gomez-Escalada and Professor Gary Jones in close partnership with Hugo Fearnley from Nature’s Laboratory.
Deadline for applications is 10th June 2018. For more information and how to apply click here
